Positioned on the north bank of the Douro River, its vines exposed to the southern sun with large thermal amplitudes, the Quinta can boast the most advantageous conditions for the development of the existing grapes. It is the first property in the sub-region known today as the Douro Superior.
The old winery was totally reconstructed always keeping in mind the necessity to create an atmosphere which would integrate the old granite walls with the wood barrels and the modern equipment in stainless steel.
